In what is hands-down the best news I’ve heard since that one Missouri Republican Senate nominee referred to women’s reproductive organs as “that whole thing,” it appears that Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom is finally coming to Beaumont.
According to Tinseltown’s website, screenings of the movie start Friday and are actually part of a double feature that also includes Woody Allen’s To Rome with Love. Which is interesting. And awesome.
Here are trailers for both. While I’m not quite ready to stop complaining about our secondary market’s movie selection, it’s hard to be mad when I’m staring down the barrel of a Wes Anderson/Woody Allen double feature. I’m ready to drown in a sea of muted tones and dry sarcasm.
